Privacy choices
Essential storage keeps your account and reports working. Optional analytics are on by default to help us understand site visits and measure ads. You can turn them off for this browser here at any time. We respect saved opt-outs and browser privacy signals.

What we collect
InspectorKit collects the information needed to create your account, run the report workflow, provide support, and improve the product. This may include your name, email, business profile, inspection details, comments, report photos, published report links, checkout status, and basic usage events.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. InspectorKit does not store full card numbers. Stripe may send us checkout status, product, price, customer, and payment identifiers so we can unlock your account and provide support.
Analytics and advertising
We use PostHog, Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel to understand page visits, ad performance, and checkout interest. Optional analytics are on by default. You can turn them off at any time in the Privacy choices section above. We respect saved opt-outs, Global Privacy Control, and browser Do Not Track signals by keeping optional analytics off.
When optional analytics are enabled during checkout, we may also send Meta a server-side purchase event after Stripe confirms payment. For this measurement, InspectorKit may use short-lived browser identifiers, click identifiers, request IP address, user agent, page URL, and checkout details. Contact details from Stripe, such as email, phone, name, and billing location, are hashed before they are sent to Meta.
The raw checkout matching context used for this purpose expires after seven days. Expired context is not read or updated for advertising delivery. Our retention process removes its direct identifiers and keeps only de-identified campaign totals for longer-range reporting.
Storage and vendors
InspectorKit is hosted on Vercel, stores app data with Supabase, processes payments through Stripe, sends service email through Resend, and may use PostHog, Google, and Meta for analytics or advertising measurement when optional analytics are enabled. We use these vendors to operate the service; we do not sell your inspection reports or client information.
Report links
Published report links are designed to be shared with clients, agents, and other people involved in an inspection. Anyone with a published report link may be able to view that report, so share links with care.
